Research

The goal of the research center at Metropolitan University of Somalia is to produce distinguished scholarship and cutting edge research. Our research centers such as Metro Center for Peace and Development, Somali Journal for Educational Research are our flagship research centers and are available to collaborate with all researchers from academia, government, non-governmental organizations on research projects both local and international levels. We are a firm believer of the fact that research enhances teaching, informs our decisions and enriches our intellectual curiosity about the most pressing issues. Metropolitan University encourages all students to get involved in research projects. Similarly, all faculty are required to be active researchers and publish an article in their field in a peer reviewed academic journal at least once a year.
